This is the latest version of the TIPS Well Log Modeler and includes some of the enhancements listed below:
- Project templates for faster model creation
- Creation and saving of custom curve expressions
- Table driven lithologies and formation management
- Export cross plot data from AVO Synthetic and Seismic Attribute modules
- Enhanced wedge models to include fluid substitution and AVO stack traces
- Full internal multiples suite of tools for identification and suppression of multiples. Includes propagating wavelets, synthetics, multiple progression panel and stacking velocity analysis for 1st order multiples.
- Comprehensive update for seismic processing to include Frequency Extension of Signal, Inverse Scattering Series multiple estimation, Adaptive Subtraction, Inverse Wavelet and more.
Once open, select Help + Help Topics to be shown the front page of documentation which details all of the significant enhancements for this version.
Please note that Internal multiples and FES are now included with your standard TIPS Well Log Modeler license and no longer require a separate licensed module.
Version Note: If you open a TIPS project file from an earlier version and save it using this version, some information may be lost if you attempt to re-open the newly saved project file using the older version. In other words, backward compatibility is not generally supported. If you prefer to play it safe with this version, when you save a file using this new version, you may want to append it with the filename “_ver310” as an example. In extensive testing, there should be no need to return to previous versions.
This version is now posted on the Downloads page. It is just an update to the previous version and will not require any license updates, etc.
User documentation has been updated with new formatting scheduled for the coming weeks. We are also working on an all new set of instructional videos to be placed on our website.
